Yes, they are in fact dwarf bears. Unit 07 is a small, round, fluffy, cute little black bear. On his head he wears a red bandana with white trim, and there are small holes on the bandana for his round little black ears to pop put of. He has small black round beady eyes along with a small black triangular nose.His left eye is covered by a black eye patch that has the symbol of a crescent moon on it. On his neck is a dark purple bandana that covers a scarred "7", and a small metal plate on his left shoulder. Unit 08 is also just as small, round, and fluffy. On his head he wears a blue bandana with orange trim, with small holes that allow his round little ears to pop out as well. He has small black round beady eyes, and a small dark triangular nose. His right eye is covered by a black eye patch that has a symbol of a star on it, and he has a small oval pink blush below his left eye. - Name: E.A.T Elemental Absorbing Technique
- Effect: During Experimentation, all units of Project F.A.E were physically enhanced by use of magic. One of their many enhancements, was the bodily ability to absorb a certain element giving them the power of immunity over that certain element. In order for this technique to work, the Unit must take a direct hit (feels all damage) from a specific element. Afterwards, he can no longer be harmed by that element as long as the user of the technique is at an equal or lower mage rank. A Unit can only absorb one element at a time, and must discard his currently absorbed element to absorb a new one.

- Effect: During Experimentation, all units of Project F.A.E were physically enhanced by use of magic. One of the abilities they gained from enhancement was the ability to transform into a weapon. During their time as pirates, they had perfected a transformation in which Unit 07 would become a cannon, and Unit 08 would become a cannonball. Their teamwork would create a devastating ranged attack via cannon fire. After the cannon reaches its range maximum, the cannonball makes a small explosion before turning back in to Unit 08.

Unit 07 is quiet calm and cool. The black dwarf bear is a man of little words, he lets his actions speak for him. Although when he does speak, his words are filled with philosophical quotes. He usually tries to stray away from attention and stick to the shadows, because he is pretty shy around others except his brother Unit 08. This is only amplified around women where he literally becomes nothing but a stuffed animal, frozen, unable to speak at all. He seems to have high respect for art, whether it is written, drawn, crafted, or musical. Trained as a soldier since his childhood, he takes that solider mentality to heart. Unit 07 does not like to take leadership roles, and instead is usually the reliable grunt type character. He is willing to do the dirty work if he is told to. He is a bit passive, and tends to listen and agree with what ever anyone says. Despite his passiveness, his is quite the intellectual, it's just in his character to agree with almost anything.
When it comes to combat, Unit 07 catches almost everyone off guard with his superb strength and endurance despite his small stature. He wields a great Halberd known as "El Rio Salvaje," which is over twice his size, yet uses it with precision and skill. He has that "one hit kill" mentality and tends to save up his strength into well calculated devastating blows. He is living proof that strength of an individual has nothing to do with the size of the individual. Due to his soldier mentality, Unit 07 never backs down from a fight, no matter how stacked up the odds are against him. His will is rock solid, and will fight to the death to serve his comrades. Despite this, Unit 07 is kind of like a gentle giant. He refuses to harm anyone and anything unless it is the only option. Unit 07 is one bear you do not want to get angry. He is a stuffed animal with the heart and strength of a samurai.
Unit 08 is loud, hot headed, and wild. The yellow dwarf bear always speaks out his opinion no matter what it is, and isn't afraid of insulting anyone. He is definitely the type that seeks attention, and will do anything to get noticed. Although he loves attention and getting cheered upon, he hates getting touched, and gets really angry when hordes of women pick him up and hug him because he is so cute. He is pretty much the polar opposite of his brother Unit 08. Despite his loud wild attitude, Unit 08 posses great intelligence, is multilingual, and even has excellent memory. Despite living almost his whole life in Project F.A.E, he never developed that soldier mentality, and always rebelled against his superiors. He hated being treated like a caged bird, he wanted to roam free, and be his own bear. Unit 08 is a natural born leader, and will do anything to make sure he and his comrades are treated with respect.
When it comes to combat, Unit 08 catches almost everyone off guard with his superior speed and agility despite his small stature. He wields a pair of daggers known as "Dientes del Tiburon," and can use them in several different ways and styles. He is not the type who conserves his energy into well calculated blows, he's all about quantity and damage as he always fights all out and relentlessly lashing out blow after blow. He feels that speed overcomes strength almost always, and it is the guy who is always on the offensive that deals the final blow. Unit 08 is very prideful, and will never let anyone trample on his beliefs. Like his brother he has a rock solid mentality, on won;t back down from even the most one sided fight. He carries a "hero attitude," in which he will always protect the oppressed. He is a stuffed animal with the will and tenacity of a spartan.
Although they are technically not brothers, Unit 07 and 08 had spent their entire lives together. They grew up in the same village, at least in their memories. Despite being the same age, Unit 08 always had the caring older brother mentality, while 07 had the adventurous, youthful free spirited younger sibling personality. Despite being practically opposites of each other, they have the utmost respect and tolerance for each other, and have a brotherly bond that is like no other. They are extremely loyal, are always there fore each other no matter how rough it gets. Their brotherly bond also gives them quite the chemistry on the battlefield, together they feel that they can overcome any obstacle. Though they have good intentions in their heart, they are still in fact mercenaries, and the know that the ends justify the means if they are to successfully meet their goals.

But what exactly am I? It had seemed like only seconds ago, I was resting in the beautiful flower beds of my village along side my brother, I don't know why, but his name escapes me. But, it wouldn't take long before I would find out that none of that was real. Nothing but fake memories implanted to give me a sense of life. But what is this strange place I am now in? It's dark, and cold, it was as if I am inside the mouth of the devil himself. There was nothing in this strange hellish world that I could recognize, except for my brother of course. He was still peacefully asleep, in his test tube, probably still living in the empty memories that we had once shared together. Above I could read the sign on his chamber labeled "Unit 08" -Unit07 Journal 2 "They say that you can never step into the same river twice" It did not take long for me to realize that the world I had once known was nothing but a dream. The reality was this cold hellish laboratory. Soon after I had awoken, I was greeted by other like me. They had name me "Unit 07". It wasn't long before I had learned of the magical power that slept within me. They had taught me the art of combat, both physical and magical until I had become their ultimate super soldier. Together with Units 04, 05, and 06, we had become a team of soldiers that could overcome any obstacle. It wasn't long until my brother had awoken from his sleep either. But for some reason he was never around the rest of the team. Despite his rebellious nature, there was always something special about him. Journal 3 "One does what one is; one becomes what one does." I was always the troublesome one. Even back then, it was my brother who tried to keep me out of trouble. But you cannot prevent trouble, when you are dealing with trouble in the flesh. My awakening was not as calm as my brother's, I too my rebellious nature the the life I had now. I was always ignoring orders and fighting back against those who so "created" me. i don't know if it was due to my personality, but I had always been isolated from the others since I had awoken. I never wanted this life, I only wanted to spend time with my brother. -Unit 08 Journal 4 "If you think you're free, there's no escape possible" I had always thought that there was something strange about the way they had treated brother. Then the day came when I had overheard some of the scientists talking about failure, and termination. I was quick to jump into conclusions, and had hastily assumed that they were going to kill my brother. Soon our team had been assigned a mission for the first time in a while. I had assumed that it was to get us out of the area so they could kill him, but I was wrong, it was the exact opposite. We were surrounded... One by one, my comrades were destroyed. Death was slowly approaching me. -Unit 07 Journal 5 "The unexamined life is not worth living" They had told me that I was special. That i was the first of many, that I was the prototype of the future. There was a sick feeling in my stomach. No matter how much I asked about my brethren, they refused to answer and me, only continuing to praise their accomplishment. I had a bad feeling in my head, I could feel the pain and fear of my brother. I wanted nothing more to do with them, so I did what I should've done as soon as I had awoken. I massacred. These people did not understand what they did, but misunderstanding will often lead to death. I should've destroyed every last one of them, but my brother was more important. Unfortunately, as I had gotten there, all of our comrades were gone. My brother was in horrible condition, we could not end this here. We ran towards the woods, and we kept running for days, weeks, months... Finally we had come upon the shoreline where we had seen the most magnificent ship. On it's flag was a golden sun, they had called it the emblem of Tartaros. They had welcomed us in as family. We had finally felt at peace, yet we knew that it was not over. Our creators were still out there, and we still had no idea of their true motives.  -Unit 08 |
